March 2023 – Newsletter
I have just returned from the USA, having completed my annual marketing trip. It was fantastic to see so many people in Nashville. Lots of new faces and it was also great to reconnect with so many people from the past and particularly reminisce about my Dad – he would have loved Nashville.
I think it was the general sentiment from attendees and outfitters alike that Nashville provided a great venue for the SCI Convention and was a much-needed change from Nevada. I think a fair amount of business was conducted after hours in many of the fine establishments Nashville has to offer. For me personally, it was so exciting to visit a city with such a rich musical culture and awesome vibe.
Many thanks to everyone who stopped in at my booth to chat about prospective hunts – and to those who booked – thank-you so much for the support – I’m really looking forward to another adventure filled year.
I was so fortunate to also have a stop-over in South Carolina and got to spend some quality time with great friends Dennis, Travis and Kenny (and their long suffering wives – special thanks to Gail), as well as making a few new acquaintances along the way. I am now painfully aware that I am going to have to seriously up my clay pigeon shooting game before next year’s visit. A heartfelt thank-you to all of you as always for your amazing Southern hospitality and being my chauffers, tour guides and personal shoppers.
The season kicks off shortly so I am filling my days at home getting on top of the small details like servicing my hunting rig, a bit of admin and most importantly getting all my firearms hunt ready!!!!
I do have a few discounted/cancellation hunts for this year – namely an elephant bull, a leopard and a 7 days crocodile/hippo hunt. Please contact me for full details on any of these if you are interested and of course bookings for 2024 are well underway.
